Most patches are offered in glue back or hook back fastener. Glue back patches are intended to be sewn on for permanent use. Cover patch with foil to protect from damage, use hand iron on low-medium setting and apply heavy pressure for around 6 seconds. Periodically check and repeat until patch holds. Keep weight/pressure applied with a heavy object while it cools. Too much heat will melt the glue too thin and become ineffective. Every fabric, patch thickness, heat source, and pressure applied are all different and not possible to give one simple instruction to iron on. The brand of glue we use is industrial strength HEAT N’ BOND ULTRA HOLD. Patch Brigade is not responsible for incorrect application of glue patch and non-returnable once glue has been melted.
